What we need is a character that belongs to a top-rated pop culture franchise that rivals in violent content with Mortal Kombat. It’s not like they can just put someone like Luke Skywalker in the game just for him to be violently eviscerated by Sub-Zero. Still, there’s a certain limit to what you can do with an extremely violent franchise like Mortal Kombat. So far, the likes of Terminator, Robocop, a Xenomorph from Alien, Predator, and even the Joker have been added to the Mortal Kombat mythos.
